Earlier this year, you may recall that I hosted a special teleseries, called “The Feminine Edge”,where I interviewed a stellar lineup of brilliant women experts.We promised to donate a significant portion of the paid enrollments to joinFITE, a worldwide women’s philanthropic initiative led by my friend and luminary Jane Wurwand of Dermalogica.
I’m thrilled to announce that thanks to YOU, our donation to joinFITE topped $10,000.00! Jane and her team shared that they were MORE than pleased, and they’re excited to use these funds to help power their initiatives to help women around the world.
Using the power of microloans via Kiva, joinFITE is dedicated to empowering women into financial independence through entrepreneurship. From countries like Zambia, Cambodia, and Kenya to even women who need help here in the U.S., our donations enable them to lift themselves out of poverty by supporting their business growth.
I interviewed Jane this past summer for Feminine Edge and just wanted to remind you of this inspiring fact that she shared: Women typically reinvest 90% of what they create with their business into their families and communities.
