I will be joining stellar speakers including Angela Bassett, Mia Farrow, and Tina Brown as a speaker at the 2010 Simmons Leadership Conference in Boston on April 29-30.
This prestigious annual event has been running for over 30 years and was one of the first annual women’s conferences. This year there will be about 1,500 women attending. Simmons College is also my alma mater – so this appearance means a lot to me.
The conference is also very affordable. You can learn more and register here. Hope to meet you!
Are you “behaving badly” in your business?
As women, we tend to be people-pleasers, but behaviors such as always saying yes, waiting for permission, and trying to be perfect do not fly in the business world. So, let me help you throw the conventional rules of “good” behavior out the window! Read this week’s business feature for a refresher on good business behavior!
Do you stick your head in the sand – or own the moment?
Even when you want to choose the first option, you’ve got to own the moment! Often we are confronted with hard decisions at times when we are already under immense stress. Read this week’s life feature to learn how you can make smart decisions, even under pressure.
Platinum members – I can’t wait to see you in a few days for our first retreat of 2010!
Love and Success,
