As you know, last week I hosted my flagship event for women entrepreneurs, SHINE 2011 (November 2-4 in Dallas, Texas). I have to say this event was off the charts and I am so proud! (Even better to hear how transformational it was for all of you ladies (and gents) who were able to attend.) And, for those who weren’t able to make it out, I want to take a minute to introduce you to the winners of my “Reinvent Your Business Competition”!
Congratulations to Kim McGann, who took home the Grand Prize of $5,000, so she could reinvent her Australia-based business, Blush Brides. Kim was ecstatic to win the support she needed, especially since she was so far away from her family during SHINE. We know she’ll go all the way in growing her business in 2012!
I’d also like to give honorable mention to my Runner Up winner Paula MacArthur, the creative entrepreneur who entertained us with a bold video entry she recorded while riding a roller coaster. Paula shared that it took 8 rides to get the video just right, and I think we can all agree that that takes a lot of chutzpah! Kudos to you Paula :).
