When I first read a certain quote from spiritual leader Marianne Williamson, it brought me to tears.
Here’s a quick excerpt: “…Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our Light, not our Darkness, that most frightens us… As we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.”
It’s inspired me for years, and I continually share it with my clients and friends. Too often we “hold back” shining our light, fearing we’re not enough, or even worse, wrongfully fearful of outshining those around us.
And today, she’s continuing to inspire me and millions of women with her upcoming event, Sister Giant, to address the huge opportunity women have right now to make a difference.
