It’s been a busy month with my recent meeting of The Trust here in Scottsdale, AZ and now preparing for my upcoming Reignite retreat for women entrepreneur leaders in November. (Is one of our remaining spots yours?)

One of the themes that arose at our recent meeting of The Trust was put forth by Suneera Madhani, who was this meeting’s Special Guest Advisor. 

She emphasized during her session that we always keep waiting for things to get EASIER on our journey. They don’t. But we get BETTER. And that changes everything. 

Are you ready? Summer is coming to a close soon. (I can’t believe my kids are starting back at school tomorrow here in Scottsdale!) While I’ve been enjoying a lot of time offline over the past two months, I’m very excited in particular about a few things coming up! (Including a BRAND NEW retreat I’ll be hosting this November.)

I can’t believe we’re already in Q2. I feel like we just put away the final Christmas decorations! Since it’s been awhile, and I’ve been making a lot of changes around here lately, I have been getting a lot of questions I’d like to answer here for you!

A. I blew it up. Because I hate Facebook now.

Seriously, it used to be fun. Over the last few years, I’ve seen it grow more and more toxic, to the point of me not even wanting to be on there for business.

I mentioned in my last email that this year of 2023 has the energy of many new beginnings… for my private clients, for myself, and my members of The Trust. 

It’s one of the reasons why I’ve been taking more time off, to realign what I’m receiving and feeling with what I’m putting out in the world.

The Trust®, a premier network for women entrepreneurs who generate annual revenues beyond the million-dollar mark, has announced the Special Guest Advisor for its Official Spring Member Meeting will be Sarah Frey, founder and CEO of Frey Farms. Based in Illinois, Frey Farms is a leading U.S. grower, shipper, and marketer of fresh fruits and vegetables. 

Twice per year, The Trust hosts exclusive member meetings featuring advisors who are female founders of ultra-successful ventures and iconic brands. Frey will be sharing her business growth insights with the members of The Trust, as well as much of her personal story, as outlined in her book The Growing Season: How I Built a New Life–and Saved an American Farm (Random House Books).

This year has the energy of many new beginnings… for my private clients, for myself, and my members of The Trust. 

Many of us have experienced profound personal transformations over the past year or two, leading us to new revelations about both ourselves and the purpose of our work in the world. There are new directions we are being pulled toward, and past efforts we are no longer interested in. 

And when we undergo these initiations into our next levels, we often crave a new circle of peers. Perhaps it’s a circle to add to our current ones, or one to replace them altogether.

I’m about to head out for a personal retreat a few hours away in the Sonoran Desert… to dream ‘what’s next’. And it got me thinking about Shonda Rhimes.

Why? 

Shonda achieved almost everything a TV producer could hope for during her long run at ABC. 

She evolved into not only one of the most prolific writer-producers in the business, but also a mogul, as the founder and head of her Shondaland production company.

ABC filled its entire Thursday night lineup with her shows — from ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ to ‘Scandal’ and ‘How to Get Away With Murder’ — but she was… restless.

I know it’s been a bit since I dropped you an update, and there’s so much happening, that it was definitely time!

1. WOW WHAT A MEETING!

First off, we’re still on a high from our Official Fall Meeting of The Trust: my modern, premier network for 7+8-figure women entrepreneurs. And I’m thrilled that so many of the members joined us in person last week. In fact it was our largest member gathering yet! (You can see more pics and stories from our event on the Instagram accounts for both myself and The Trust.)

We ALL left feeling a sense of renewal and clarity to bring our biggest visions to life, and I’m excited to see how this group continues to evolve.
