"Why I'm NOT having a big party for my episode of Secret Millionaire..." - Glambition Radio

"Why I'm NOT having a big party for my episode of Secret Millionaire…"

As many of you know, I’ll be appearing in the season finale of the ABC’s Secret Millionaire — mark your calendars for Sunday, April 10 at 8pm! I can’t believe it’s only nine days away.
The network describes the show as “…America’s most successful self-made millionaires embarking on a truly incredible journey. They will each spend a week in the country’s poorest areas and ultimately reward some unsung community heroes with hundreds of thousands of dollars of their own money.”
We filmed my journey last spring, and it was truly one of the most powerful and emotional experiences of my life.
Many of you have been asking if I’m hosting some huge celebration around my episode of the show. You all know I love parties and dressing up! But I have to tell you… It just personally did not feel appropriate to me to plan some huge celebrity-style party or launch a new product around this particular occasion.
Why? This experience was intense and tremendously humbling for me. It caused me to seriously assess my life and work here on the planet.
During my week of living in poverty, surviving on welfare wages, and volunteering in some hard situations, my life was changed forever. You’ll have to watch my episode to learn more, but let me just tell you the true stars of my journey were the amazing people I encountered who give endlessly to make their worlds a better place.
Now, that being said, I’ve been getting a ton of QUESTIONS from many of you about the show. “What was the experience like? What surprised you the most? What did you eat while on welfare? What happened that we will NOT see on the show? Which organizations are you still working with? How has your life tangibly changed because of this?” and more.
I am considering hosting a free call a few days after the show airs to answer YOUR questions about the show and my experience. (And also to share with you some big changes I’m making in my life because of the show.)
If you like this idea, can you let me know? The best place to comment is my Facebook page at www.facebook.com/alibrownfan.
I hope to hear from you. 🙂
Love and sucess,
Ali
