I’m not much of a cook, but I wanted to share this recipe because it’s sooo easy and tasty. The key is the fish – make sure you get a fresh, firm piece of bass. And ladies, men LOVE this! Great to make for a date 😉
I adapted my own version from a recipe I found online but was loaded with butter. This one only uses olive oil so it’s healthier and is just as good (serves 2):
– 1 pound sea bass
– 2 cloves garlic, chopped
– 1/4 tsp garlic powder
– 1/4 tsp onion powder
– 1/4 tsp paprika
– 1/4 tsp sea salt
– 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
– Handful chopped Italian parsley
Preheat grill on high. Mix all ingredients together in bowl except parsley. Spoon mixture over fish or dip fish in it. Grill fish flesh side down for about 5 minutes and then skin side down for about 8 minutes, spooning any remaining mixture on fish when you flip it over. Take off grill when fish flakes easily with fork. Top with sprinkle of parsley!
I typically serve with a fresh green salad and some type of wild rice. Bon appetit!
Love and success,
