The economic shift calls for some major attitude adjustments, especially in relation to our partners and lives at home. On this week’s episode of Glambition Radio, you’ll hear what motivates former Wall Street lawyer Elizabeth McLaughlin to lead the discussion in this cultural revolution, and how her organization, 40 Percent and Rising, is helping women from all walks of life transition to their new role as the family’s principal source of income.
When Elizabeth first met her husband, her career as a Wall Street lawyer and Executive Coach was earning her ten times what he was earning. The traditional concepts of “woman’s work” and “the man’s job” just didn’t apply anymore, and she faced a whole new set of unique challenges. Her friends were struggling with the same issues, and Elizabeth realized that no one really knew how to act under these circumstances because there weren’t any role models for the newfound women breadwinner.
