A colleague at the United Nations Foundation once gave Elizabeth Gore a new title — “humanitarian bulldozer” — to describe her drive and aptitude for effecting change on scalable levels. And in her latest position she’s doing the same: as the Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Dell Technologies, she drives initiatives that support the company’s goals around helping small- and medium-sized businesses scale and prosper.

I got to know this week’s Glambition Radio guest in 2014 while she was Chair of the United Nations Foundation’s Global Entrepreneurs Council, which I had the honor of being an entrepreneur delegate for. In that position, she helped build global partnerships that positively affect the UN’s most pressing humanitarian issues. She previously served as the first ever Entrepreneur-in-Residence for the UN Foundation, as well as VP of Global Partnerships, and founded strategic grassroots efforts such as Girl Up.

You get the idea: Elizabeth Gore is someone who makes things happen. And someone you want to know.

On this week’s episode of Glambition Radio, we discuss how the recent election is powering up more women than ever to get involved and lead the change they want to see. (And how it doesn’t have to be at a huge level to make a difference.)

Elizabeth is also a partner in the Circular Board growth accelerator program for women entrepreneurs along with my friend Carolyn Rodz, and their “playground meeting” story will give you a chuckle. (Sometimes with young kids you just have to do what it takes.)

I know you’ll get a lot out of this episode. So head over to iTunes and listen to this episode of Glambition Radio now (or download for later).

Love and Success,
