Only a handful of books has had the global impact of Sharon Lechter’s Rich Dad Poor Dad. Although it was first released in the late 90s, the international bestseller Sharon co-authored with Robert Kiyosaki continues to change the conversation and our relationship with money.

On this week’s episode of Glambition Radio, Sharon tells us how she went from a traditional CPA job to becoming an architect of the Rich Dad and The Napoleon Hill Foundation mega-brands, the author of over 20 bestsellers, and one of the founding members of the President’s Advisory Council for Financial Literacy serving both President Bush and President Obama.

Sharon’s first career goal was to become a partner at one of the top accounting firms in the country, but it didn’t take long for her to realize if she was going to work that hard she wanted to work for herself. An opportunity to partner in a growing company came along, and she said, “why not?” – and that question turned into her theme. “Why Not” led her to become a publisher, the driving force behind the Rich Dad empire, The New York Times Bestseller list, and a job working with the White House.

By clicking the play button below you can hear Sharon explain why the WORST career decision she ever made led her to her BEST life decision in her Glambition Radio interview.

Sharon always had a passion for education, but it was her college- age son’s struggle with debt that made her dedicate her life to financial education. A fierce advocate for financial literacy, Sharon has become a world renown expert on entrepreneurship and prosperity, and as the founder and CEO of Pay Your Family First, she’s pioneering the field of educational tools to help schools and parents inspire children to find their entrepreneurial spirit.

On this episode of Glambition Radio, Sharon and I discuss mantras, why assets and royalties are sexy, and the message behind her most-recent book, Think and Grow Rich for Women. I know you’ll get a lot out of this episode. So click the play button below and listen to this episode of Glambition Radio now.
