New York TV news anchor Tamsen Fadal has won eight Emmy Awards, reported live from war zones, and even starred in a Broadway show – but her own story could be the most inspiring one she’ll ever tell. After a VERY public divorce, she hit the reset button on her life and rediscovered her peace, passion, and personal power. On this week’s episode of Glambition Radio, Tamsen tells us why she’s made it her mission to help smart, successful women survive and thrive after a break-up or divorce with her book, “The New Single.”
After moving to New York, Tamsen and her husband Matt were stunned to learn there were 200,000 more single women than men in Manhattan. The couple opened a personal matchmaking business and wrote three books on the topic of love, “Don’t Date Dumb,” “Why Hasn’t He Called,” and “Why Hasn’t He Proposed.”
Business was great and the PR was nonstop. Tamsen felt like she had the picture-perfect marriage and life.
But then, the unthinkable happened: The relationship experts’ own marriage imploded… VERY publicly.

Tamsen admits that for a long time, she was embarrassed to talk about the divorce. She was anchoring the news every night and terrified of what people were saying behind her back.
And now suddenly single, she didn’t know what to do. But, after a few hard years, Tamsen came through it and shares all the lessons she learned for surviving, thriving, living, and loving as one of a growing group of women, which she calls “The New Single.”
